Some people from other countries think that most of us speak Singlish, type chatspeak, throw rubbish all over the place, destroy the trees, and not help less fortunate people. I find these videos meaningful, especially the one about Singaporeans' faults. We should learn from our reflections from different people and try our best to improve ourselves and to make Singapore - and all the other countries - proud of us.

ReplyDeleteOk, this is Jiayu here. Just to tell you people, I think I can help you people improve this website. Anyway, do try to give information in simple form and in a more 'fun' way. Regarding nation building in general, I think that To start off with, we have to love Singapore, so that when we serve the country, we do it because we WANT to do it, to see our country suceed, not because we HAVE to do it. It is the question of passion, not duty. Which brings us back to the point that it is useless to try to 'force' Singaporeans to come back to Singapore. The only way out is probably to bring up their memories of the past, of the days they spent in Singapore.
